A Day In The Life
Your day starts with a pulse check on your deal pipeline. You’ve got several exciting prospects at various stages, so you’re organized and careful to plan your day well.
Next, you quickly scan various Telegram channels, Discord servers, Bitcoin Talk threads, Twitter. You’re tuned in to the latest discussions, gauging what’s trending and looking for new candidates to funnel into your deal pipeline. It’s a numbers game and you’re stacking the deck in your favor.
Your first meeting is a stand-up with the acquisition and community managers to align on outreach strategies and highlight new groups that could be a good fit for partnerships. You also give them feedback about how to be more authentic in their crypto-messaging.
By mid-morning, you're off to a café meeting with a blockchain project founder to explore potential collaborations. You understand his needs, explain our platform’s strengths, and brainstorm how we might work together.
Back at your desk, you shift gears to focus on product development. You join a call with the Product and Development teams to refine a spec doc you created last week. Your negotiations with potential partners are driving big changes in our product. It’s this part of your role that makes you able to land major partnerships that move the needle.
In the afternoon, you dive into performance metrics from our recent partnership with the XYZ Telegram group, a community that runs a free prediction market for emerging alt coins. In a meeting with the analytics lead, you analyze the results: a 15% increase in users of our own Telegram Bot and a 20% rise in average transaction value among this group over the past week. Your leads are generating real uplift and revenue! Given this strong engagement you flag XYZ for deeper collaboration. With these insights in mind, you brainstorm tailored offers or product features that could further boost cross-selling.
Later, you see the email you’ve been waiting for! Our Chief Commercial Officer has given his input on your draft terms for your latest partnership. You’re working together to sign a revenue sharing deal that also allows our product to cross promote their platform. It’s a complex deal with big risks, but even bigger rewards. You’re keen to finalize it and do it well.
As the day winds down, you work on your upcoming travel schedule. It’s important to continue building your network at various conferences and events. It’s not always fast-paced: building relationships takes time, and some partnerships require multiple conversations to secure buy-in. But by the end of the day, you know you’re making meaningful connections that will drive growth.
